Do you treat children?
At Garden Springs Dental, most of us have children and grandchildren, and we love welcoming little ones to our practice and giving them a head start on a healthy smile.
We like to see children starting around age three. At this point, most kids have a full set of 20 baby teeth, and Dr. Davis, Dr. Edens, & Dr. Jones can make sure they’re developing properly. How long has Garden Springs Dental been open?
Garden Springs Dental has been serving the oral health needs of friends and neighbors for over 60 years, and our doctors are proud to be a part of this tradition. Our entire team will welcome you warmly and go out of their way to treat you like a valued member of our extended dental family.
How often should I get my teeth cleaned?
We agree with the recommendation of the American Dental Association that you have your teeth cleaned at our Lexington, KY dental office every six months. This may seem like a lot, especially if you’re brushing and flossing conscientiously.
But seeing you every six months allows one of our gentle dental hygienists to clear away all the plaque and tartar that sit on your teeth and cause cavities and gum disease. She will also make a note of any areas of concern, and if she finds early evidence of gum disease, she’ll develop a treatment plan to prevent it from damaging your oral health.
Do you see same day dental emergencies?
When you have an emergency, it’s crucial not to ignore it. That’s why we always leave extra time in our schedule to care for patients who need an emergency dentist in Lexington, KY.
Time is of the essence in treating many emergencies like severe toothaches or infected root canals, but we provide prompt treatment for whatever problem you’re experiencing. If you think you have a dental emergency, don’t spend a lot of time wondering what to do. Call Garden Springs Dental first at (859) 277-1189, and we’ll get you on our schedule and give you instructions for handling your emergency until we see you.
Why do you need to take dental x-rays?
We understand the concern that many of our patients have with the safety and frequency of dental x-rays. Visual exams are invaluable, but they only tell us what’s happening on the outside of your teeth.
Our low-radiation digital x-rays take us deep inside your tooth so we can look for areas of concern and detect cavities in their earliest stages. When we address tooth decay early on, we prevent it from spreading and causing more involved problems that can be costly to fix.
We assure you that if we need to take a dental x-ray, we’ll explain why it’s necessary and how it will help us protect your oral health. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us!
How can you help me manage the cost of dental treatment?
We want to ensure that every aspect of your time with us is comfortable and stress-free. There’s a lot to think about when it comes to managing your oral health, and we don’t want you to worry about the details – that’s our job!
The cost of treatment is one of the first things patients ask us about. We know that financing can be a roadblock for many people, but we want to change that.
Here at Garden Springs Dental, we offer a financial solution for just about every need.
If you are uninsured, we offer CareCredit and ClearGage third-party financing. We are also pleased to provide a Dental Membership Plan that offers 15% off on services. You can check out the details of these options on our financial page.

We are open from 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday so that you can make appointments before or after work at your convenience. Your time is valuable, and we will do everything possible to see you on time, so you don’t have to sit around waiting for us.
