Hearing that you need to have a tooth extracted can be stressful. You have to deal with the emotions around losing a tooth and possible feelings of shame or embarrassment. Then you need to face the idea of the procedure itself. Finally, you need to think about which tooth replacement will fill the gap in your smile.

That’s a lot to think about, but you’re not alone. Your team at Garden Springs Dental will provide all the support you need to have a stress-free tooth extraction in Lexington, KY

We Put Your Comfort First

We’re sensitive to the fact that tooth extraction can be overwhelming for many people. But our experienced dental team has helped many of our patients get the comfortable care they need.

What to Expect with a Tooth Extraction

Our dentists start the procedure by making sure you’re settled and comfortable in the dental chair. We’re pleased to offer nitrous oxide sedation if you feel like you need a little extra help to relax.

Next, we’ll use a local anesthetic to numb your mouth and make sure you don’t feel any pain. For patients who don’t like needles, this can be the biggest hurdle. However, our dentists have decades of combined experience in delivering comfortable injections.

When you’re numb, Dr. Davis or Dr. Edens gently and skillfully remove the tooth. If you feel discomfort at any time during your procedure, please let us know right away.

We’ll Put Your Fears about Extraction to Rest
